UNDERSTANDING OUR POLITICAL ECONOMY
(Economics for a Sustainable and Peaceful Planet)
Director Ed Dodson has
developed an interdisciplinary course on political economy based, in
part, on the analysis of Henry George. Slide presentations for each
lesson have been prepared using PowerPoint software, each module
accompanied by detailed lecture notes.
This course material is available at no cost upon request by teachers
without restriction on use. As a teacher you can modify the PowerPoint
modules or revise the lectures to meet your classroom needs.
The design of the course is targeted to adult students, but is
certainly within the reach of high school students who have had some
introduction to economics and economic history.
A follow-up course on the History of Economic Theory and Policy is
also available.
