The Institute for Economic Inquiry
conducted courses and workshops for business and industries in the
Chicago, Illinois area during the 1960s, under the direction of John
Lawrence Monroe. In 1968, Mr. Monroe retired and settled in San
Francisco, California, where he lived until his death in 1988.
